Site Gag: It’s No Gag! Herzog & de Meuron’s Tate, Take 2

Picture 66.png

Hot off Building Design’s presses:

Two new images [above] of Herzog & de Meuron’s extension of the Tate Modern [in London] have been released following last week’s granting of planning permission.

Tate Modern 2 will see the oil tanks of the former power station retained as spaces for art.

The development will provide display and exhibition spaces, performance spaces, education and learning facilities, together with ancillary offices, catering, retail and associated support facilities within a new 24,786 m2 building located behind the existing Tate Modern.

Papa like.
